Trunyan Village is a village in Bangli Regency which is located on the edge of Lake Batur. Access to Trunyan village is done by crossing Lake Batur by boat. The most interesting thing in Trunyan village is the funeral procession carried out by the local community. Burial in Trunyan does not involve burying, but simply laying on the ground. Even though it is only placed on the ground, it does not make the area emit a strong odor because there is a tree named “Taru Menyan” which cover the unpleasant smell. This makes Trunyan village interesting to visit for cultural tourism.
Kertagosa
Kertagosa is a building part of the Klungkung kingdom which previously functioned as a court. Kertagosa is located in the center of Semarapura city, Klungkung district. The Kertagosa building consists of two main buildings, namely Bale Kambang and Bale Kertagosa. The characteristic of Kertagosa is the traditional wayang painting on the ceiling of the building. where the painting has the theme of the law of karma or the consequences of every action taken.
Besakih Temple, biggest temple in Bali
Besakih Temple is located at the hillside of Mount Agung and it is the largest temple in Bali which a place for Hindu to pray. Besakih Temple is located in Karangasem Regency, precisely in Besakih Village. You can see the splendor of the temple buildings combined with the panoramic view of Mount Agung. When you visit Besakih Temple, you must wear a sarong when entering the temple area and you can rent it near the location. The temple forbidden for women who is menstruating.
Tanah Lot Temple, The Icon of Bali
