Kelingking beach is one of the beaches in the western part of Nusa Penida, to be precise at Karang Dawa, Bunga Mekar Village, Nusa Penida. Kelingking beach is surrounded by cliffs that resemble a little finger. Exotic white sand beaches, blue sea water and beautiful underwater charm. You take about 45 minutes from the port to Kelingking beach by motorbike or car.
If you want to go down to the coast, there are stairs to get to the coast and make sure you use comfortable sandals or shoes because it’s quite steep. If you want to see the sunset view from the top of the Kelingking beach cliff, the best time to visit is around 17:00. But if you like a quiet atmosphere, then the best time to visit Kelingking beach is in the morning, around 07:00.
You can do several activities at Kelingking beach. First, you can take pictures using the Kelingking beach background, or you can also take photos of the scenery there. Second, you can dive and enjoy the beautiful underwater charms. Third, you can go trekking here. Trekking activities can be done on the road to the top of the cliff. The path is steep and not very flat, making trekking more challenging. However, don’t do this activity if your body condition is not fit or you are pregnant, have heart disease, and have a phobia of heights.
