The broken beach is located in the western part of Nusa Penida, precisely in Bunga Mekar Village, Nusa Penida. Broken beach is formed because of a high cliff in the middle of this beach. This cliff arises from the abrasion of seawater with a height of approximately 50 to 200 meters and uniquely forms a hole in the middle. From the port, you need about 1 hour to reach Broken beach.
Broken Beach does not have white sand that can be used for jogging or playing beach volleyball. The seawater trapped in the middle of this cliff is so clear and bluish. The waves are calm. You can see the life of marine life, especially manta fish and turtles. The best time to visit Broken Beach Nusa Penida is during the dry season, from June to September. It is recommended to come to this beach between 6 am and 6.30 pm.
